Local Auctioneers Offer eBay Services

An eleven-foot tall  SpongeBob  Square Pants waves to motorists in front of the Alliance Auctioneers office on Main Street in downtown Owensboro.   Alliance is selling the huge inflatable for a client on eBay.

Owensboro, Ky.  Gerald Wedding and Silas Deane, owners of Alliance Real Estate, Auctions and Estate Services, are selling items for clients on eBay. 

“Many of our buyers at conventional auctions are eBay traders, but not everyone is comfortable or experienced with computers and eBay”, said Ann Deane, Alliance Auction Coordinator. “Now they can also access the world market just by dropping off their items” said Deane.

Ebay clients appreciate having a licensed, professional auctioneer coordinating their sale. Sellers know that they have all those years experience working for them and eBay buyers love to deal with a licensed professional they can trust.

Alliance has the licenses to sell anything on eBay, and has already offered artwork, toys, rare bottles, old books, vintage car accessories, and an eleven-foot tall inflatable Square Bob Sponge Pants that came from the local Burger King. Real Estate and automobiles are the next items they hope to successfully sell on eBay.
